You may encounter The directory X is not allowed to be written to!
error when extension installer in OpenCart 3 versions. In fact, this is not a bug, it is a feature that allows you to install the extension to only certain directories. By default any extension directories except allowed directories, warnings must be overridden by using the events system. However, since this is a new feature, many extensions may not support this feature. This is why we may encounter a warning message when we want to install an extension. This can sometimes be annoying.
Installing an extension with ftp can be a solution when we encounter such a warning message but connecting to an ftp server every time is both a waste of time and increases the possibility of errors during manual uploading.
You can get rid of The directory X is not allowed to be written to!
warning message using this extension.
How to Install?
